RHINOS COMMUNITY CIC

Rhinos Community CIC is the community impact arm of the wider Rhinos network, created to widen access to sport, activity and positive opportunities for children, young people and families.

While Blackheath Rhinos delivers club football, Rhinos Community CIC focuses on funded and subsidised access, inclusion and community benefit.

Why we exist

We know that cost, confidence, access and personal circumstances can all stop children from taking part regularly.

Rhinos Community CIC exists to remove some of those barriers and create more opportunities for children and families to access safe, positive and affordable activity in their local community.

What we do

Through fundraising, partnerships and community support, we aim to provide:

  • funded and reduced-cost holiday places

  • affordable access to sport and activity

  • inclusive opportunities for children facing barriers to participation

  • girls and community-based activity opportunities

  • wider support for children and families through positive local provision

Funded and reduced-cost places

A limited number of funded and reduced-cost places are available for families who may otherwise be unable to attend due to financial hardship or other significant barriers. If you would like to apply for support, please complete our short form honestly and in full. Priority may be given where financial hardship or other clear need is identified.

We may ask for brief supporting information before a funded place is confirmed.

Built on trusted local delivery

Rhinos Community CIC builds on the wider Rhinos network’s existing work with children and families through football, holiday activity and community-based provision. The CIC has been created to make sure more children can benefit, especially where cost or circumstance would otherwise get in the way.
